- Working table is made of heavy gauge stainless steel sheet.
- Fitted with U.V. Germicidal Light and Static Pressure Manometer.
- Side panels and front doors are made out of thick transparent plexi glass duly framed.
- Unit is fitted with Pre-Filter and HEPA Filter.
- Air is drawn through Pre-Filter and is made to pass through highly effective HEPA (High Efficiency Particular Air) filters having efficiency retaining all air-borne particles of size 0.3 micron and larger.
- With statically and dynamically balanced motor assembly.
- Heavy Duty Motor operates with minimum noise level.
- The working area is illuminated by fluorescent lighting fitted to the unit.
- The unit is also convertible to the conventional Vertical Laminar Flow bench with downward air flow by lifting the sliding front door upwards.
- Air is sucked through the pre-filter and the excess air is thrown out from the top through a HEPA filter.
- Supplied with glove ports and gauntlets, HEPA filter, pre-filter, U.V. light and fluorescent light.
- To work on 220/230 volts A.C. supply
(A) AS PER CLASS II (PARTIAL EXHAUST AND PARTIAL RECIRCULATORY MODE)
In addition to the above features of a standard Vertical Laminar Flow Bench, the CLASS II Bio-safe cabinets have arrangements for re-circulating a part of the air thus creating highest level of clean air. This cabinet is vented, with partial air exhausted from the cabinet and partial is recirculated back.

(B) AS PER CLASS III (100% EXHAUST MODE FOR WORK ON HIGH RISK AGENTS)
- Besides standard specifications of a class II Bio-Safe Cabinets these units are available with
following features:
- This Class III cabinet is totally enclosed ventilated cabinet type. Operations within the Class III cabinet are conducted through attached glove ports. When in use, the Class III cabinet maintains negative air pressure throughout. Supply air is drawn into the cabinet through HEPA filters.
- The cabinet exhaust air is filtered by HEPA filter, before discharge. The exhaust fan for the Class III cabinet is generally separate from the exhaust fans of the facility’s ventilation system.
- Exhaust system of these units ensure 100% exhaust of air from the work area via suitable plenum under the S.S. perforated table.
- These units works in tandem with the main air flow system.
- These units are provided with built in HEPA filter, virus burn out system and an additional U.V.
germicidal light and a HEPA filter at exhaust ensuring total environment protection.
